The BMFA operates a system of achievement schemes, which test and record a model flyers progress. The tests vary in difficulty and many clubs require that a flyers has achieved the basic 'A' level qualification before flying solo. There are awards for all branches of radio control model flying. You can read all about the achievement schemes on-line.
